For Cerebras’ global Llamapalooza tour, I evolved their original mascot into a versatile, location-specific character system. Each llama was tailored to reflect cities of Mumbai, Singapore, London, Seattle, Paris, and New York City—appearing in expressive poses, dressed in traditional outfits, placed in front of iconic landmarks, or enjoying local foods.
Built for adaptability, the character was designed to live across both digital and physical channels: LinkedIn promos, printed signage, on-site presentations, event merch, swag bags, and more. Seen by hundreds of attendees at each stop, the llamas helped bring a playful, welcoming spirit to Cerebras’ cutting-edge events—connecting global audiences through design.
Seattle
The Seattle llama set reimagines Cerebras’ Bay Area mascot for a new audience—using localized details like Mount Rainier, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and a Seahawks-inspired palette to resonate with Pacific Northwest attendees. From pose to props, each element is crafted to feel familiar and playful while staying visually consistent with the broader Llamapalooza brand system.
India
For the India llama, I combined traditional attire with cultural icons to create a regionally resonant character. Elements like the saree, dhoti, chai, sitar, and Indian flag bring familiarity, while landmarks like the Taj Mahal, Gateway of India, and Thar Desert set the scene. Elements like the elephants and auto rickshaw add motion and personality, all within a consistent visual system for Cerebras’ global Llamapalooza campaign.
Singapore
The Singapore llama blends cultural dress and local icons to reflect the city’s vibrant identity. Outfitted in Baju Kurung and Baju Melayu, the characters hold items like durian, chicken satay, and the Singaporean flag. Set against visuals of the street market, skyline, and Gardens by the Bay, the illustrations capture regional energy while staying true to Cerebras’ playful, adaptable brand system.
London
For the London edition, the llama takes on a distinctly British flair—appearing as a royal guard, football player, and a posh flag-wrapped fan. The backdrop features iconic landmarks like Big Ben, London Bridge, and a classic red telephone booth, grounding the character in a recognizable cityscape.
Paris
In the Paris series, the llama embodies the city’s iconic style and charm. One version takes on a sporty persona, dressed in cycling gear and posed beside a bike along the Tour de France route. Another strolls through the Avenue Montaigne fashion district. The last llama sports a Breton shirt, baguettes and wine in hand, with the Eiffel Tower in view. These illustrations blend fashion, food, and athleticism—capturing Parisian culture while staying true to the Llamapalooza character’s playful and adaptable spirit.
