Cerebras AI Llamapalooza Event Branding
Cerebras hosted Llamapalooza, an internal event designed to energize their team and celebrate the launch of Meta’s Llama 3.1 405B. Held at their San Francisco HQ, the event blended tech culture with playful brand moments, featuring food trucks, games, and custom merch.
I was brought on to develop a mascot that could anchor the visual identity of the event — a versatile, illustrated llama built for adaptability across formats and moods. The design needed to resonate with a highly technical audience while still feeling light, expressive, and fun. From stickers to noodle packaging, the character became a central touchpoint across every branded element.
What started as a one-off illustration quickly evolved into a scalable asset, used globally and even featured on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square. The mascot has also since appeared in Cerebras events around the world, including England, France, India, and Singapore.

Inspired by the Buldak Chicken mascot, the ramen llama was meant to reference late-night coder snacks and resonate with the engineers behind the work.
Event materials used bold type, vibrant color, and clear hierarchy to make every interaction feel considered, not corporate.
The illustrated llama was built for versatility — expressive enough to wear outfits, show emotion, and flex across formats.
